YG’s song was released in 2014 on his My Krazy Life album, but Boosie Badazz believes he borrowed the hook from his 2009 track of the same name without permission.
“Check ya DM @yg MY G SO WE CAN TAKE CARE THIS,” he wrote while sharing a snippet of YG’s song, followed by his own version.
YG has yet to respond.
YG previously admitted he got the idea for the chorus on “Who Do You Love?” from Boosie Badazz in a verified annotation on Genius following the song’s release.
Produced by Mustard, the hit single reached No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with My Krazy Life peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

YG isn’t the only rapper in Boosie’s crosshairs. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper recently threatened legal action against artists who have sampled or interpolated his work without permission, and has also pointed the finger at Rod Wave and Kodak Black.
“Rod Wave ain’t the only one. Y’all better do y’all research,” he said on Instagram Live this past weekend. “I done got paperwork on the way. Lot of people, it ain’t just Rod Wave.”

Boosie added that he “ain’t mad” about people borrowing his music, but he just wants to be paid what he deserves.
“I love when they do that shit. They be giving my flowers,” he said. “I be liking that shit when I hear it. It’s just, you gotta compensate me too. It’s a business.”
